Nuclear stopping in oxygen-induced reactions at 200 A GeV

Description
Measurements of transverse energy and energy at zero degrees are compared with the results of a Glauber-type multiple collision model calculation. The best fit to the data shows that the nuclear stopping has its maximal value. This theoretical model also predicts energy densities and shows how the energy density changes as the projectile and target masses change
