Interpretation of neutron noise experiments at the WWER-1000 reactor

Description
Results of decomposition of WWER-1000 in-core detectors noise spectrum based on the three-component model are discussed. Channel component is determined by the turbulent noise, axial and local ones are determined by coolant flow rate fluctuations. The inlet source of flow rate noise has restricted frequency range which is reciprocal of the coolant in-core flowing time. 4 refs., 3 figs
