'Nuclear power education Renaissance' in university. Map of new nuclear researches and education in Japan and its view

Description
Nuclear power education Renaissance is opened toward 21st century new age of the total science of nuclear power. Main universities have a tendency to face new nuclear power researches and education on the view point of cooperation among industry, university, government and region. A trend and characteristics of main universities is reviewed. The nuclear power education and researches in USA is introduced by an example of Purdue University. History and view of nuclear power education in Japan, and new development of nuclear researches and education in ten universities are stated. Ten universities consist of Hokkaido, Tohoku, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Kinki, Fukui, Osaka and Kyushu University and Tokyo Institute of Technology. (S.Y.)
