Numerical investigation on the behavior of a droplet and vapor film due to shock wave

Description
The effect of shock wave on the behavior of a droplet covered by vapor film in water pool is numerically investigated. Two level set functions in combination with Cubic-Interpolated Pseudo-Particle (CIP) algorithm, are used as to implicitly capture the interfaces among three immiscible fluids. For the purpose of comparison, the revolutions of both single bubble and single droplet due to shock wave are also simulated. Existence of the vapor film mitigates the droplet deformation properties.
