Description
The atomic model of intergranular diffusion is briefly summarized. The case of the coherent boundary of the (012) twin in simple cubic lattices is discussed in detail. The experimental value of the intergranular diffusivity is shown to depend both on the boundary structure and the atomic exchanges between the boundary and the matrix. On the contrary the anisotropy of the intergranular diffusivity does not depend on these exchanges

Le modele atomique de diffusion intergranulaire est resume succinctement. A titre d'exemple, on traite en detail le cas du joint coherent de la macle (012) du systeme cubique simple. On montre que la diffusivite intergranulaire mesuree experimentalement depend a la fois de la structure du joint et des echanges atomiques entre le joint et la matrice. Par contre l'anisotropie de diffusivite intergranulaire ne depend pas de ces echangesFiles
