The solid state physics symposium covered the topics such as phonon physics, magnetism and magnetic properties, physics of defects and disordered materials, superconductivity and superfluidity, phase transitions and critical phenomena, surface and interface physics, solid state devices etc. The contributed papers are published in the form of short communications. They were presented at the symposium orally or in the form of posters. Papers falling within the subject scope of INIS are processed separately. (M.G.B.)
