Studying the fast reactor shield in the direction of reactor control system measuring channels by means of the RADUGA program

Possibility of the RADUGA program application for two-dimensional calculation of the fast reactor shield zone, which includes neutron guide and RCS detector is studied. Calculations are carried out by means of the program version based on the characteristics method.The RADUGA program applicability to study radiation transport character along high-extended cavities, to obtain correction coefficients for nondiffusion effects and to evaluate the absolute value of neutron flux density within side ionization chamber measuring channels as well, is proved
