Influence of weather conditions and chronic irradiation on populations of the pine of the ordinary Bryansk region from territories having contrast level radioactive pollution
- 1. Russian Institute of Radiology and Agroecology, Obninsk (Russian Federation)
Description
Automatic translation: For effective regulation of the radiation effect on biota, complex, long-term studies of populations of plants and animals in their natural habitat are necessary, giving an idea of the effect of the whole complex of natural and anthropogenic factors and of the dynamics of the response of populations to stress effects. However, at the moment such studies are extremely small. Therefore, we are conducting a comprehensive long-term study of natural populations of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) inhabiting the territories of the Bryansk region radioactively contaminated as a result of the Chernobyl accident.
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
