Kinematical diffraction from superlattice with an arbitrary periodic potential

Description

X-ray diffraction from a superlattice with an arbitrary modulation of the scattering power and the crystal-lattice parameter and statistically distributed microdefects has been considered within the kinematical approximation. Coherently scattered intensities are expressed in terms of the amplitude reflection coefficients of the individual layers of the superlattice period. The examples of the harmonic, triangular, and rectangular models of a superlattice are considered
