Mid-term outcome of percutaneous thermal ablation for intrahepatic recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma after liver transplantation
Description
Highlights: • Evaluate the safety and mid-term outcome of PTA for r-HCC after LT. • PTA is a safe and effective treatment for intrahepatic r-HCCs after LT. • Single tumor, late recurrence after LT, and serum AFP level ≤200 ng/ml were independent predictors for longer OS time. -- Abstract: To evaluate the safety and mid-term outcome of percutaneous thermal ablation (PTA) for the treatment of intrahepatic recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma (r-HCC) after liver transplantation (LT).
