Odderon exchange and Ks meson regeneration at high energies
Description
The KN-scattering odderon amplitude is calculated in the QCD Born approximation. The absorption corrections to the Born amplitude are taken into account in the quasi-eikonal model. The calculations are carried out for the case of a spherically symmetric nucleon and for a nucleon with a compact scalar ud diquark. The results are not very sensitive to the quark-diquark structure of the nucleon. The contribution given by the effective odderon exchange, which includes the pomeron exchange screening, to the amplitude of Ks-meson coherent regeneration does not exceed 30% of the ω-reggeon contribution at plab<∼1 TeV/c. For the diffractive process Klp → Ksp the odderon exchange dominates in differential cross sections at t<∼1(GeV/c)2 momentum already at plab∼50-200 GeV/c. A sharp change of the t dependence of the differential cross section at these energies is predicted
