Effect of grain size on the texture and thermoelectric properties of extruded Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 solid solutions

Description
The effect of degree of dispersion of the source powder of the synthesized solid solution and postextrusive annealing on the texture n-Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 extruded samples is studied. It is shown, that the texture and thermoelectric properties of the Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 solid solutions extruded samples nonmonotonically depend on the source powder dispersivity. The results are explained by the impact of the texture and electron and phonon scattering on structural defects

Исследовали влияние степени дисперсности исходного порошка синтезированного твердого раствора и послеэкструзионного отжига на текстуру и термоэлекрические свойства экструдированных образцов n-Bi2Te2.7Se0.3. Показано, что текстура и термоэлектрические свойства экструдированных образцов твердого раствора Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 немонотонно зависят от дисперсности исходного порошка. Результаты объяснены влиянием текстуры и рассеянием электронов и фононов на структурных дефектахAdditional details
