The kinetics of reactions of cyano compounds at high temperatures: Final report, February 1, 1985-January 31, 1988
Description
This report summarizes progress and accomplishments on a program to investigate the reaction kinetics of cyano compounds at high temperatures. During this program, research has proceeded in several areas, including: development of an atomic resonance absorption system (ARAS) for measuring H-atoms in shock tube kinetics experiments; measurement of the high-temperature rate coefficients of several reactions of cyano compounds in a shock tube using several different optical techniques, including ARAS and tunable laser absorption; and initial application of excimer laser photolysis for generation of the NCO radical for shock tube kinetics experiments. 10 refs., 3 figs
