Nuclear shift and a broadening of mesomolecular levels
Description
Formula are obtained which express nuclear shifts and widths of mesomolecular levels with an arbitrary angular momentum J in terms of the nuclear-Coulomb scattering length and the effective radius. For the dt system these parameters are extracted from the experimental data on the dt → αn reaction. The shifts and widths are found for the J=0 levels in the dtμ molecule. The case of states having nonzero J is discussed
