Description
Present study of 99Tc is aimed at i) locating the low lying members of the negative parity band based on the 1/2- state in the decay studies ii) to search for transitions connecting the 625, 719, 1017 and 1205 keV levels which have been observed in (3He, d) particle transfer reaction studies, iii) to look for weak transitions between already confirmed levels which could not be observed in earlier studies, iv) to provide precise values for the level and transition energies and transition intensities for comparison with various model predictions and v) to propose a new level scheme for understanding the level structures of 99Tc
