Intermediate-coupling effects on the n=2 resonant photo-ionization of multiply-charged helium-like ions
Description
Diagonalization calculations of the n=2 resonant photo-ionization characteristics of multiply-charged helium-like ions C4+, O6+, Ne8+, Mg10+ and Fe24+ are performed in the LS and intermediate-coupling approximations for a few 1P1(-) and 3P1(-) autoionization levels. The qualitative influence of relativistic effects on characteristics of resonant photo-ionization is shown. A comparison is done with perturbation calculations using the complete Breit operator.
