Role of radionuclide methods in the evaluation of respiratory tract clearance function in pulmonary pathology

Radionuclide methods for investigation of the respiratory tract clearance function - the method for measuring mucociliary transport and the methods for investigating mucociliary clearance are described. The problems of using the results of investigation of mucociliary lUng apparatus in a pulmonologic clinic is also considered. It is shown that the described methods permit to evaluate the dynamics of the disease, therapy effects, drug action. The prospects in the development of the above methods due to their physiologic and intraumatic properties are pointed out
