Description
We developed a remotely-controlled apparatus to synthesize 2-deoxy-2-[18F]fluoro-D-glucose from CH3COO[18F]F and tri-O-acetyl-D-glucal at room temperature. The apparatus is simple to build and operate, and gives a radiochemical yield of 15-18#percent#, which is about 25#percent# lower than that produced by the manual method of synthesis. The synthesis takes 35-40 min to complete. (author)
