Stress corrosion resistance of the steel Z 6 CN 18-9. Influence of the surface treatment (shot-peening, polishing)

Comparative tests of stress corrosion have been carried out for different conditions of shot peening treatment. Thanks to a statistical criterion of cracking under stress corrosion, the results have been compared to those obtained with polished test-pieces in different conditions

Des essais comparatifs de corrosion sous contrainte ont ete conduits pour differentes conditions de traitement de grenaillage. A l'aide d'un critere statistique de fissuration par C.S.C. (corrosion sous contrainte), les resultats ont ete compares a ceux obtenus pour des eprouvettes polies dans differentes conditions
