Holmium iodide compounds with monovalent metals

Description
Methods of DTA and X-ray phase analysis are first used to study HoI3-AgI system. Its phase diagram is presented. AgI · 3HoI3 compound existing in 140-340 deg C temperature range is detected in the system. Formation of compounds in HoI3 - MI systems (M+ - alkali metal ion, Tl+, Ag+) is reviewed. Some holmium iodide compounds with monovalent metals are first studied using method of 127I nuclear quadrupole resonance(NQR). Description of NQR spectra and suppositions on structure of studied compounds are presented
