The californium project of the PTB

Description

A so-called 'fast' Neutron Flux Density Standard with fission spectrum is defined. Its realization by means of 252-Cf-neutron sources is described. Hitherto existing results of measurements, especially cross sections and fission product yields averaged over the Cf-252 fission neutron spectrum, are given. (orig.)

Ein sogenannter 'schneller' Neutronenflussdichte-Standard mit Spaltspektrum wird definiert. Seine Realisierung mit Hilfe von 252Cf-Neutronenquellen wird beschrieben. Bisherige Messergebnisse, insbesondere ueber das Spaltspektrum gemittelte Wirkungsquerschnitte und Spaltausbeuten, werden mitgeteilt. (orig.)
