Interpretation of radiation effects on uranium-alpha with regard to thermodynamics and diffusion of point defects
Description
Some uranium swelling characteristics which had not been satisfactorily explained could be derived from the thermodynamics and diffusion data of point defects in the vicinity of bubbles (cavities) and dislocations. Other applications of point defect thermodynamics and diffusion in the vicinity of dislocations for interpreting radiation effects on uranium are briefly indicated. (author)
