Body imaging acquisition process by rotation placing of radiology device, especially angiography

Description

To obtain images around an elongated object , the direction of this object is located. In this aim, in a first image, an image point of one place of elongated object is checked and located. It joins the X-ray tube focus to the located point. On this image of the epi polar straight line an homologous point of the located point is checked and located in the first image. Identifying of these points permit to infer the space position of the characteristic point. We repeat this operation for a second characteristic place. From these two characteristic places, the orientation of the elongated object is deduced. Then, the imaging device position is set, according to the result. 5 refs., 7 figs
