The Mn/H and B/H thermal absorption cross-section ratios

Description
Measurements have been made of the Mn/H and B/H thermal absorption cross-section ratios. Values of 40.07 +- 0.39 and 2324 +- 20 were obtained for these ratios, respectively. Taking the H 2200 m s-1 cross section as 332.55 +- 0.69 mbarn, these ratios give values of 13.32 +- 0.13 and 773 +- 7 barn for the 2200 m s-1 neutron cross sections of Mn and natural B, respectively.
