Effect of temperature variation on plastic behavior of SUS 304 stainless steel
Description
Combined stress tests were performed on thin wall tubular specimens of SUS 304 stainless steel by varying the testing temperature in the range from room temperature to 600 deg C. Plastic stress-strain relations subsequent to prestrain at various temperatures were investigated experimentally under combined stress states. The experimental results were compared with the stress-strain relations at constant temperature. The influence of temperature variation on the stress-strain relations was examined. The stress-strain relations in combined stress states were evaluated by using the equi-plastic strain surfaces. (author)
