Measurements for apparent molar volume and apparent molar heat capacity of aqueous N,N-dimethylethanolamine from 10-120 °C
- 1. Univ. of Guelph, ON (Canada)
Description
This project is an investigation of the thermodynamic properties of aqueous amine species being considered for use in high temperature and high pressure industrial applications. Accurate measurements of standard partial molar heat capacity from 10-120 ◦C and standard partial molar volumes from 10-90 °C of dilute N,N-dimethylethanolamine are being made to obtain values for the equilibrium constant at hydrothermal temperatures. Both the neutral and protonated amine species will be measured. The results will be used to improve predictive models for equilibrium constants and thermodynamic properties. (author)
