The collisional dissociation of HD2+ studied by angular distributions and translational spectroscopy
- 1. Lab. de Cuernavaca, Inst. de Fisica, UNAM (Mexico)
Description
Collisional dissociation of HD2+ molecular ion incident on He has been studied in the energy range 1 to 5 keV by angular distributions and translational spectroscopy. From the angular and velocity spectra of HD+ and D2+, we have calculated the binding energy of HD2+, some of the main transitions involved in the dissociation process, and the total cross sections for the production of both fragments.
