The radiation protection principles applied to uranium ore mining at the Rozna I mine operated by the DIAMO company are outlined. The topics discussed include applicable laws and regulations, monitoring of the working environment and monitoring and regulation of the employees, and monitoring of the discharges and the surrounding environment.
