Influence of boron nitride additions on properties of superconducting YBa2Cu3O7-δ

Description
Investigation results are presented for interaction of yttrium HTSC with boron nitride. YBa2Cu3O7-δ+BN compositions are prepared in the proportions as follows: 1:2:3+(BN)x, where x=0; 0.1; 0.2; 0.3; 0.5; 1.0; 2.0; 3.0. The investigations show that for thin film devices preparation with accounting for BN tendency to promote Y2BaCuO5 phase formation the application of boron nitride substrates with buffer layers of YBa2Cu3O7-δ or Y2BaCuO5 dopped with BN is considered to be the most suitalbe
