Description
The first part of this report addresses the dosimetry of γ emitting radio-elements which are present in vegetal samples. The dose measurements were performed by spectrometry and results were processed by using a least square method. The second part reports works performed in the Grenoble transverse valley by using the same techniques. Radioactivity fluctuations of various radio-elements (40K, 54Mn, 95Zr + 95Nb, 103Ru + 106Rh, 137Cs, 137Ba, 140Ba + 140La, 144Ce + 144Pr) in various vegetal species, in water and in sediments have been monitored in seven points of the Isere river banks, upstream and downstream the city of Grenoble, from March 1966 to August 1968. Fluctuations observed for each radio-element are explained by comparison with physiologic, hydrologic and atmospheric climate conditions. The principles of a systematic control of a site for the detection of possible radioactive pollutions are then defined

La premiere partie de cette note traite de la dosimetrie des radioelements emetteurs γ presents dans des echantillons de vegetaux par spectrometrie suivie d'un depouillement, par la methode des moindres carres, a l'aide d'un ordinateur. La seconde partie expose les travaux qui ont ete realises dans la Cluse de Grenoble grace aux techniques precedemment decrites: les fluctuations de la radioactivite due principalement a 40K, 54Mn, 95Zr+95Nb, 103Ru+106Rh, 137Cs, 137Ba, 140Ba+140La, 144Ce+144Pr dans quelques especes vegetales (notamment Alnus Incana L., Populus Nigra L., Salix Alba L., Phragmites Communis Trin., Solidago Serotina.), dans l'eau et les sediments, ont ete suivies en sept points des berges de l'Isere repartis en amont et en aval de Grenoble, de mars 1966 a aout 1968. Pour chacun des principaux radioelements, il est possible d'expliquer ces fluctuations en les confrontant avec les donnees climatiques atmospheriques, hydrologiques et physiologiques connues. Les principes du controle systematique d'un site en vue de la detection d'eventuelles pollutions radioactives sont ensuite poses. (auteurs)Files
