Description

The electromagnetic structure of deuteron form factors are studied in search of the ways of typical difficulty renormal. These difficulties arise in the study of elastic electron-deuteron scattering processes in the relativistic limit. Nonrelativistic form factors of the deuteron are calculated using the modified dispersion approach in which the electromagnetic form factors of a compound two-particle system in an explicit quadrature form are totally determined by available information on the electromagnetic form factors and on the scattering of particles which are contained in the system. The obtained values of deuteron wave functions and corresponding of this wave function characteristics of elastic electron-deuteron scattering are presented in the form of tables and graphs. There are discussed the relativization problem, the problem of taking into account the exchange meson currents and the consistence between the theoretical description of the form factors at small momentum transfer squares q2 and the composite quark structure of hadrons manifesting at high q2
