Extraction kinetics of iron(3), europium, cerium, yttrium by hdehp in centrifugal extractor

Description

Kinetic behaviour fo iron (3), europium, cerium and ittrium in extraction by di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid (hdehp) in small-dimension centrifugal extractor with a disc rotor, modelling high capacity extractors has been investigated. Creation in the centrifugal extractor of the intensive mixing regime dose to limiting accessible one in practive does not exclude extraction proceeding with low velocity. It is necessary to choose the regime and operating conditions not to create slowly extracting forms. Centrifugal extractor can serve for separation of elements or forms of one element having various extraction velocities
