Graphite materials radiation size changes and criterion of their work capability
Creators
Description
Changes of graphites physical properties (porosity, strength, elasticity modulus, sizes changes) and their interconnection after irradiation in 320-1500 K temperature range and fluence up to 1,6x1022 n/cm2 (E > 0.18 MeV) are considered. It is shown that in the range of intensive graphite samples size growth an increase of porosity takes place and strength deterioration as a consequence occurs. A criterion of graphite workability is proposed which includes the relation between strength limits under compressing and bending
