The utilization of natural gas, petroleum, pit coal and nuclear energy in the Soviet Union

Description
The growth rates of the industry production in the Soviet Union were unusually high. Natural gas supplies of about 16 billion m3 secure future use in West Europe, too. The petroleum production should reach 1975 500 million t. The pit coal supply is over 650 million t. Atomic power plants will contribute 18% to the energy demand by 1976. The technical scientific cooperation of the Soviet Union and abroad should be strengthened. (orig./LH)

Die Zuwachsraten der Industrieproduktion in Sowjetrussland waren ungewoehnlich hoch. Erdgasvorraete von ca. 16 Billionen m3 sichern kuenftige Nutzung auch in Westeuropa. Die Erdoelproduktion soll 1975 500 Millionen t erreichen. Die Steinkohlenfoerderung liegt ueber 650 Millionen t. Zum Energiebedarf werden Atomkraftwerke 18% bis 1976 beitragen. Die technisch-wissenschaftliche Zusammenarbeit der Sowjetunion mit dem Ausland soll verstaerkt werden. (orig.)Additional details
