Description
Nuclear engineering is a field of work which is mainly concerned with the construction and operation of nuclear power plants. There are some 50,000 people working in nuclear facilities and the ancillary industry. This booklet contains seven chapters dealing with occupational activities relating to planning, construction and operation of nuclear power plants, supply and waste management, licensing and control authorities, technical control boards and nuclear research centers.
