WWER: new design and power step or evolution of the commercial model

Description
Possible ways of backfitting NPP power units with WWER-1000 reactors with a view of enhancing their capacity are discussed. A possibility to increase the capacity are discussed. A possibility to increase the capacity of operating reactors up to 1100-1200 MW through the modernization of steam-generators, turbines and turbine hall equipment is proven. The proposed measures can be realized within 2-3 years
