Electrochemical cell on the base of orange dye

Description
It was designed and investigated electrochemical cell on the base of orange dye (O D): Zn/O D/C. As a electrolyte the aqueous solution of O D was used. Open circuit voltage and short circuit current of the cell were equal to 1.5 V and 0,45 m A respectively. The efficiency of the cell was equal to 67%. (author)
