The basic test on the 20 kVA superconducting sychronous generator
- 1. Kyoto University, Kyoto 606
Description
An experimental superconducting synchronous generator (3-phase, 4-pole, 20kVA, 220V, vertical shaft type) has been manufactured and some fundamental experiments including an on-line test has been performed. On the other hand, a three dimensional theoretical analysis for the calculation of magnetic field distributions and the determination of machine parameters was carried out. Good agreement between the measured and the calculated values is confirmed
