Description
The influence of (ΔΔ) configuration on the magnetic moment and the electric quadrupole moment of the deuteron is studied. It is indicated that a simple nonrelativistic model is able to explain both these moments simultaneously. An important discrepancy with previous calculations is found and resolved. (author)
