Fast algorithm of track reconstruction for the Delphy TPC
Description
We describe a simple geometrical method (polar inversion) to reconstruct tracks. When the magnetic field is constant in magnitude and direction. This method uses geometrical properties of the trajectories. In the case of the DELPHI apparatus, the track reconstruction is done using TPC informations. After explaining the algorithm, we give results on ''GEANT'' simulated events using the ''Lund'' generator. Today we get a computer time of the order of 1.2 milliseconds on a CDC 7600 and an efficiency of 98%

Cet expose decrit une methode geometrique simple (inversion polaire) de reconstruction de trace lorsque le champ magnetique est constant et parallele a un axe de l'appareillage experimental. Cette methode utilise quelques proprietes geometriques de la trajectoire. Le cas de DELPHI est celui de la reconstruction de trace a partir des informations donnees par TPC. L'algorithme est explique puis les resultats sur une simulation de l'experience a base de ''geant'' traitant des evenements generes par le programme ''Lund'' sont exposes. Les temps de traitement obtenus actuellement sont de l'ordre de 1,20 ms pour 7600 CDC par trace et l'efficacite de 98%Files
