Description

Complete test of publication follows. Rhenium possesses radioactive nuclides with potential applications for nuclear medicine. 186Rhenium is one of the most promising radionuclides for palliative treatment of cancer and radioimmunotherapy. Organodiazenido ligands, as well as other containing multiple metal-nitrogen bonds, have been of great interest in recent years because of their amphoteric nature and close relationship to dinitrogen and nitrosyl ligands. A new organodiazenido rhenium complexes [Re(N2COPh)X(C9H7NO)(PPh3)2] has been obtained from direct reaction of [Re(N2COPh)X2(PPh3)2] X = Cl, Br with excess of 8-hydroxyquinoline. Solvent used for reaction was argon saturated. Laser X-induced fluorescence is used to measure the elemental composition of materials. The measurements were performed on [Re(N2COPh)X(C9H7NO)(PPh3)2] single crystals. The obtained spectra were analyzed with the use of XRF-FP Quantitative Analysis Software. Energetic bands Lα1 and Lβ1 for Re and Kα1, α2 for Cl and Br were observed. The stoichiometry of crystals could be confirmed. Moreover, using an internal database the fundamental parameters such as absorption coefficients, fluorescence yield, transition probabilities could be derived from spectra.
