Thermodynamics of chelate effect. Regularities of changes of Gibbs energy contributions

Comparative analysis of electrostatic and nonelectrostatic components of thermodynamic characteristics of complexing of some two-valent metals including cadmium and acidic-based equilibria is carried out. Laws of changes in thermodynamic functions depending on dentate properties of nitrogen- and oxygen-containing organic ligands, type of their donor atoms and the nature of ion-complexing are detected
