Description
The method to prepare uranium dioxide from concentrated solution of uranyl nitrate in the fluidized bed by denitration and reduction is a new developed technology in China. The paper describes the basic principle, the technology process and the main equipment of denitration and reduction of uranyl nitrate. The results and conclusions of the experiment are given. The advantages of this method are short technology process, a few equipment, low operating cost and little radioactive liquid water produced, etc.. The recovery ratio of uranium is 99.96% and the conversion ratio of uranium is 93.5%
