Description

Methods of crystal opics and infrared spectroscopy were used to study peculiarities of synthesis under irradiation and in plasma of the following inorganic compounds: complex oxides (NiCr2O4, NiAl2O4 spinels, NiFe2O4 ferrite, (Fe, Cr)2O3 solid solution) and model compound of Na2MgSiO4 orthosicate. Synthesis was conducted by three methods: solid-phase sintering in the air at 600...1500 deg C, in plasma of electric arc plasmotron and under accelerated electron beam. Conducted investigations showed that synthesis of complex oxides under electron irradiation achieved the maximum at the temperature by 200...300 deg C lower as compared to the temperature of synthesis in the furnace. Oxide interaction in plasma during short period of time also results in preparation of complex compounds. Correlation of synthesis conditions in plasma and under electron beam irradiation enables to consider that reactions of spinel and ferrite formation in binary oxide systems NiO-Cr2O3, NiO-Al2O3, NiO-Fe2O3, Fe2O3-Cr2O3 under acelerated electron beam proceed at lower temperatures. This testifies to the fact that processes of radiation induced diffusion affect sufficiently synthesis procedure, besides thermal effect
