Description

The construction of synchrotron radiation source complex is under way. The complex is designed for conducting experiments using synchrotron radiation (SR) in the field of solid body physics, K-edge spectroscopy, element analysis, Moessbauer experiments, biological object investigations, experiment with high time resolution, Compton and nuclear spectroscopy. The complex comprises special storage Sibir'-2 and Sibir'-1 with 2.5 GeV and 450 MeV accelerated electron energies respectively. The injection part comprises a linear accelerator with electron energy E=80 MeV and two electron beam transport channels. 7 refs.; 8 figs.; 4 tabs
