Study on the algorithm of the calculation of the components' importance measures in a risk monitor

Description
The calculation of importance measures is based on the individual basic event in PSA compared to the component, which often involves several basic events, in a risk monitor. Therefore the conventional methods used in PSA are not always suitable for the risk monitor. Many algorithms for the calculation of the components' importance measures have already been developed but haven't been widely accepted. In this paper a new algorithm named CPDIM is proposed. The feasibility and effectiveness of CPDIM is illustrated by the calculations of many examples. (authors)
