Amplifier-discriminator and charge converter for processing of photomultiplier signals

Description

An amplifier-discriminator based on a K500LP216 integrated circuit is described. One amplifier-discriminator is used in a channel for recording of scintillation-detector data to form a time-reference pulse while another is used in an LCR logarithmic amplitude converter. The high stability of the channel allows it to be used in the field. High stability is achieved by one receiver in the linear mode with symmetrical negative feedback
