Alpha-nucleus vs. exotic clusters in the decay of excited compound nucleus 124Ce formed in 32S + 92Mo reaction
Creators
- 1. Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh (India)
Description
It will be interesting to explore the decay mechanism of excited compound nucleus (CN) 124Ce* and check the relative production of A=4n, α-nucleus like 8Be vs. A≠4n, exotic cluster like 6Be. In this contribution, this study has been taken on the basis of the dynamical cluster-decay model (DCM) of Gupta and Collaborators, an extension of PCM to hot (T≠0) CN
