Procedure for monitoring of reactor pressure vessel vibrations

Description

The invention refers to a procedure for monitoring of reactor pressure vessel vibrations in nuclear power plants with a minimized measurement expense. On the basis of vibrational signals filtered from the oscillating frequency of at least three positions on the reactor pressure vessel surface the hunting oscillation parameters have been determined as rest point coordinates and elliptical semi-axes. Following to that the vibrations of preselected reactor pressure vessel points have been derived and monitored by comparing with statistically or physically determined limit values
