Hydrogen measurements using hydrogen uranyl phosphate tetrahydrate

  • 1. Cambridge Univ. (UK). Dept. of Metallurgy and Materials Science

Description

A solid state hydrogen sensor is described which uses tungsten oxide bronze as a reference hydrogen electrode. It exhibits a Nernstian response at room temperature of 29.5 mV/decade. Three experiments using this device to detect hydrogen in steel and in air are described. (Auth.)
